After deciding that big law was big on everything except fun, she launched Black Law P.A. in 2013 with a mission: reinvent how law is practiced and prove that great advocacy starts with great humanity.

Outside the courtroom, Kelsey insists she's writing a novel someday, but for now, her husband, two daughters, and one little but opinionated dog keep her calendar full. She takes her coffee black, like her name, and she won't drink cheap red wine. She's also convinced there's no such thing as an unsolvable problem, just puzzles waiting for someone stubborn enough, curious enough, and caffeinated enough to crack them.
