Samantha Iglesias, Esq.

Samantha Iglesias is a litigator, working on the crème of our complex commercial litigation. She is a master of legal research and treatises that could cause even the nerdiest law school professors to doze off. Samantha is good at organizing huge volumes of information into something succinct and efficient, which scares away adverse parties but succeeds in charming our local judges and mediators.

Samantha joined us more than a year after receiving her first offer letter, but we try not to hold that against her. Sam's upbeat charm brightens the office, but it is her offbeat sense of humor and casual display of intellect that is as tall as she is not that has won us over. Her lesser-known skills involve her glory days as an elite softball catcher and winning an excellence award in federal income tax (really?).

Beyond her caseload, Samantha is the office's resident Florida Panthers enthusiast, the kind who will tell you about the team's playoff prospects whether you asked or not. She has also quietly become the firm's go-to on condo and HOA matters, which is a deeper and weirder area of Florida law than most attorneys give it credit for. And she is the most cheerfully chatty member of the team, the kind of colleague who walks into your office to discuss one thing and ends up workshopping three. If you are ever in need of a good idea, a fast one-liner, or the sound of a reassuringly unrestrained laugh, Samantha is your gal. Actually, no, you cannot have her, she is all ours.

Off the clock, Samantha is a doted aunt who spends her weekends taking her nieces to Disney and Universal, or so she tells us. We wouldn't be entirely surprised to learn the kids are just cover for her own theme-park enthusiasm.
